Mental Health Gifts For Teachers From Amazon
1. Flowers Are Always A Safe Bet
Mental health gifts for teachers can be overwhelming, but everyone loves to add a little bit of beauty to their lives. Getting some pretty flowers from a student always brightens my day and makes my house or classroom look so much more homey.
I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t adore some flowers from anyone. Since flowers aren’t a typical teacher gift, it is all the more special when you get them.
To make them extra special, personalize them to their personality and their age. Here is a great article from Martha Steward about different flowers and their meanings!
Flowers are the perfect gift for those of you who don’t know someone super well but still want to get a unique and personalized gift for them. They add beauty to any space and make everyone feel cared for and seen.
2. Comfortable Clothing
Part of caring for your mental health is knowing when to rest. Teachers have such a difficult job taking care and raising children, in some cases. To keep their mental health in check they have to take care of themselves. Comfortable clothes are vital for relaxation and rejuvenation. By giving a teacher a set of comfy clothes you are giving them permission to take rest for themselves!
The set linked below is just one example of a cute set from Amazon that will be tailored to all sorts of people and it isn’t too trendy! Socks, comfy shorts, blankets, and hats are all cozy essentials that any teacher would love.
3. Healthy Snack Basket
Snacks are a must have for teachers because they actually work longer hours than most people realize. Having something healthy to help them move super efficiently throughout the day is so important.
I love granola! I have to make mine from scratch because I am allergic to nuts, but having a cute jar filled with yummy granola is such a treat. Here is a cute jar that I found on Amazon for under $10 that I am sure you will love! Filling a jar with a dry mix for hot chocolate or granola is a great gift that a teacher is sure to appreciate.
4. Adult Art Supplies
Art supplies are the perfect gift for any middle or elementary school teacher (and some high school teachers). I don’t know a single teacher who wouldn’t love some personal art supplies to decompress and enjoy their time alone.
Art supplies can be very personal for those who love art, so a great start for people you are unsure of is adult coloring books and markers. Colored pencils are also a great option in combination with a coloring book. But for those that you know love art, charcoals, oil pastels, and a mixed media sketch book are a perfect gift!
I have a list on my storefront of a bunch of art supplies I recommend from Amazon for all different price points. Don’t be afraid of personalizing it and writing a cute note or making them a card from scratch to get their creative juices flowing!
5. Gift Cards
One thing we know about teachers is that they are underpaid! Gift cards are a great way for teachers to supplement things that they need without you having to read their minds.
I linked a few gift card options from Amazon on my storefront that I know teachers will love and use. If you happen to know about the financial or personal needs of the teacher, you can personalize it to make it even more personal.
If you have reason to believe a teacher is struggling financially, then an Amazon gift card is a GOD SEND! Walmart or Target gift cards are also a great catch-all for teachers who you don’t know much about. If a teacher is struggling to afford necessities like food, then these can be a great option to help them get through a tough time.
For a teacher who likes little luxuries then an Ulta or Sephora gift card is the perfect gift!
6. Mindfulness Journals
Teachers need to work on their mental health more than most people because their personal lives can easily affect their students! A simple mindfulness journal can help ground them and keep them present in the moment.
While this gift isn’t exactly selfless, teachers will appreciate you thinking of them and caring about their health. I love my mindfulness journal and it is nice to switch it off with different prompts from different authors.
A plain journal is also a great gift! This is my personal journal because it is cheap and easily available. I don’t think anyone can have too many journals. Even if they just use it for to-do lists and grocery hauls, it is put to good use!
7. Self Care Kits
A super simple and direct gift is a premade self-care kit! Some of my favorites are from Etsy, but for something simple that will show up in two days, Amazon is your best bet.
E.L.F. has a really cute skincare set that is only $20 and is filled with really great products. I love the holy hydration line from Elf because it is really gentle and makes my skin feel so hydrated and smooth. It is nice to add some extra steps to your routine because it makes you feel luxurious while you do it!
If you want something a little more expensive and trendy, this set on Amazon is $40, but it is so cute! It has an orange theme that looks so cute. It is filled to the brim with cute items like soap, a blanket, juice glass, and more!
