Why Self-Care Goals?
I believe that self-care is so important in our lives and extremely important for growing as people.
How do you expect to grow if you aren’t working on yourself?
Self-care is different than other goals because it can encompass everything. Self-care is all about growth and taking care of YOURSELF. Improving as a person is a part of life. You can choose to go backward or forward. If you aren’t working on yourself you aren’t going to be standing in place, you will be moving backward.
If you think about it, if you stop brushing your teeth every day, your teeth aren’t going to stay just as clean as they did the last time you brushed them. They are going to get dirty, they are going to feel fuzzy and build tartar, and you will get cavities.
Just standing still isn’t a thing in personal development. You will keep moving, you get to choose if it is backward or forward.
Goal Setting
Goals don’t have to be hyper-specific. Give yourself time to think and feel how those goals might make you feel. If your goal has an end date, how will you feel and look when they are done?
Don’t set goals that are going to make you feel crappy.
I have a post on Medium about setting financial goals and putting in work, but it has a lot of great info about goal setting as well! Click the link below to read!

Setting goals doesn’t have to be complicated either. Finding lists like this can help you find ideas or inspiration that will keep you accountable without all the stress.
Set one to two goals a month and see how you feel. Build up an extra habit once a month and let them build on each other. If one fails, then another one will keep you accountable.
