I know how overwhelming it can be to make a Winter TBR List with all the possible books you could read. Here is my Winter TBR that I am super excited about!
I try to read about one book weekly, and I have been pretty successful this year. Even when I am busy, I play audiobooks, and when I take work breaks, I don’t scroll on TikTok; instead, I read!
TikTok can make your breaks go by quickly, so spending that time wisely is essential! That’s why I love to read. It is like watching a TV show, and being able to talk about it with others is so much fun!

Winter TBR List
@empyreanseries 🥳😅 Yea, I dont get why pp dont like this book if they are into the Romantasy Genre… but there is nothing to dislike! 🥰🫶 🎥 @Krystynsbookshelf on IG 🥰 📚 @Rebecca Yarros ’s Fourth Wing 🥳 __________________________ #fourthwing #fourthwingaesthetic #fourthwingart #fourthwingrebeccayarros #fourthwingspice #fourthwingcosplay #fourthwingmerch #fourthwingspoilers ♬ original sound – Fourth Wing
Fourth Wing is one of the top-selling books of the year. It is an absolutely amazing book I cannot stop recommending to everyone I know. This is at the top of the list because if you haven’t read it, you need to! I have already read this, so it is not on my personal winter tbr list, but I had to add it for everyone who hasn’t!
The book is about a girl who goes to become a dragon rider, which is the deadliest listing there is, and she is notoriously fragile and trained to become a scribe, which is like the historians.
Her mother is one of the top generals, and she is forcing her to become a rider. She is sure that she will not survive training!
This book is a 5/5 for me and has the best enemies-to-lover trope I have ever seen. If you like romance, you will love this book. It has elements of fantasy, but it is super beginner-friendly. If you want to get into fantasy, this is where to start!
@bookishwbomberry Fourth Wing lovers this sounds sooooo good!!! Thank you @Mandy✨📚 for sharing i cant wait 😭 #booktokfyp#bookrec#fantasyromance#romancebookrecs#fourthwing#thejasadheir#bookgirliesaesthetic #enemiestoloversrecs ♬ original sound – Destiny Bomberry
I am so excited to pick this book up because I have heard some amazing reviews.
“The Jasad Heir” is an enthralling debut novel by Sara Hashem that promises a thrilling ride. It’s the first installment in “The Scorched Throne” series and from what I’ve heard, it’s not to be missed.
Imagine a story swirling around a royal in disguise, who finds herself reluctantly forming an alliance with her greatest enemy after her magic is unintentionally revealed. The stakes? High. The tension? Palpable.
The tale unfolds in a realm where a fugitive queen is forced to strike a deal with a formidable adversary. The outcome of this agreement could either breathe life back into her shattered kingdom or doom it to everlasting ruin.
In the center of this maelstrom is the heir of Jasad, a survivor of a brutal massacre. She’s determined to stay hidden, particularly from the armies of Nizahl that continue to hunt her people. But one moment of recklessness changes everything, plunging her into a high-stakes game of power and survival.
Rumor has it that the narrative is brimming with forbidden magic, a deadly contest, and a commander known for his cold precision. With elements of a destroyed kingdom and a secret heir to a lost throne, “The Jasad Heir” seems to offer an exciting blend of classic fantasy tropes peppered with intrigue and suspense.
So, if you’re up for an unforgettable journey filled with unexpected twists and turns, “The Jasad Heir” may just be the next book on your reading list!
24 Hours in Paris by Romi Moondi
@jennanidzreads 24 Hours in Paris by Romi Moondi 🤩 #booktok #wattpad #wattpadbooks #fyp ♬ original sound – 🙂
From what I’ve gathered, “24 Hours in Paris” by Romi Moondi is a delightful and engaging novel that transports you to the romantic city of Paris. The story isn’t just any ordinary tale, but an exciting journey that combines work and pleasure, introducing us to two unexpected travel companions.
The story revolves around Mira Attwal, who’s dealing with the emotional fallout of breaking away from South Asian traditions and canceling her engagement. Amid this personal turmoil, she finds herself on a business trip to Paris with a coworker, where, despite the allure of the city’s renowned cuisine and fine wine, she can’t escape her past.
Jake, her coworker and travel companion, adds an interesting dynamic to the story. Their journey through Paris, filled with unforeseen twists and deep introspection, forms the heart of the narrative.
I’ve heard that the book has a vibe reminiscent of classic 80s and 90s romantic comedies, giving it a timeless and nostalgic charm. It’s said to be a romantic adventure filled with laughter, tears, and a journey of love and self-discovery.
So, if you’re looking for a light-hearted escapade through the enchanting lanes of Paris, “24 Hours in Paris” could potentially be your next read to add to your winter tbr list!
Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams
@ramishahaha Update: i finished & loved it🥰 #booktok #bookish #practicemakesperfect #sarahadams #sarahadamsbooks #romancebooks #bookrecs #bookrecommendations ♬ Monkeys Spinning Monkeys – Kevin MacLeod & Kevin The Monkey
“Practice Makes Perfect” by Sarah Adams is supposed to be a charming and heartwarming novel that explores the intricacies of love in a small town. This New York Times bestseller presents an engaging tale of a local sweetheart and an emotionally distant man navigating their way through a chemistry-filled romance.
The story centers around Annie Walker, who is on a quest to find her perfect match – someone who complements her peaceful, content life running a flower shop in Rome, Kentucky. Despite her efforts, finding the right person proves to be more challenging than she anticipated.
An interesting twist emerges when Annie embarks on a series of ‘practice’ dates and educational tutoring sessions. Through these encounters, she unravels additional layers to Will’s typically stoic demeanor. As their relationship evolves, the lines between friendship and something more begin to blur.
I’ve heard that the book is filled with both light-hearted moments and emotional depth, making it a captivating read for anyone who enjoys romance novels. With its small-town charm and relatable characters, “Practice Makes Perfect” might just be the perfect book for those in search of a feel-good romance story.

From what I’ve gathered, “Fireborne” by Rosaria Munda is an enthralling kickoff to the young adult fantasy series, The Aurelian Cycle. This book, which is told from multiple viewpoints, takes readers on a gripping adventure that challenges conventional notions of family and loyalty.
The narrative centers around Annie and Lee, two orphans who witness a brutal revolution that drastically alters their world, giving even the lowborn a chance to rise. As they grow up together in an orphanage, they find themselves competing against each other to become Firstriders, the elite dragon riders of their new society.
What sets this book apart is its exploration of complex themes like familial bonds and societal structures. It forces readers to question what truly matters more: the family you were born into, or the one you choose for yourself.
Based on reviews, the book boasts a perfect blend of action, world-building, character development, and political intrigue. It’s also praised for its strong female protagonist, making it a compelling read for anyone who enjoys thought-provoking fantasy novels.
So, if you’re looking for a captivating journey through a world of dragons, revolutions, and complex human emotions, “Fireborne” might be a great option!
