This Post is All About My Summer TBR

1. The Women By Kristen Hannah

summer tbr

This is my current read that I have next to my bed and so far it is so good! As my boyfriend has joined the Air Force, I have gotten into military books and it has opened a whole new world for me.

The Women follows a girl as she joins the army as a nurse going to Vietnam. From what I have read, this book talks about women in the military and gender in general. I think this book is going to be so good for an interesting historical fiction that I can read as the weather is warming up!

2. The Nightingale Kristen Hannah

I love the writing of Kristen Hannah so much that I want to read her other books. They seem like a perfect summer book that you can read on the porch with a cold drink.

I found this book on TikTok from a girl saying it was her favorite book of all time. (I tried to find this TikTok or her account and I couldn’t find the right one.)

If you are looking for a good cry, then I believe this will be the book for you!

3. Go As A River By Shelley Read

summer tbr

This book is set on a small peach farm in a little town in Colorado. Victoria runs the household on her family’s farm as the only woman remaining in her family. She meets a man named Wilson and decides to leave town with him. She comes back after a tragedy to work on her home and the people around her.

I think this book is going to be an amazing read for some extra drama and tragedy that I need when I want to get into a book.

4. The Magic All Around By Jennifer Moorman

Honestly, I chose this book for my summer tbr because of the cover, but it honestly sounds amazing now that I have read the description. Here is a brief description that Jasper AI gave me:

The story revolves around a family treasure hunt that unfolds unexpected paths in life. The protagonist, Mattie, and her aunt Penelope, embark on a journey of discovery through their past, which eventually reveals Mattie’s extraordinary gift for arranging the future. As they uncover secrets hidden within an old Victorian house, they are both perturbed and intrigued, leading them to explore new possibilities. This enchanting tale is not only a delight for the intellect but also tugs at the emotional chords, with sensitive and believable characters reminiscent of those in “Practical Magic”.

This sounds so amazing and captivating that I almost want to move it up the list on my summer tbr…

5. Crescent City by Sara J Maas

Crescent City is an adult fantasy series by Sarah J. Maas that follows the story of Bryce Quinlan, a half-human, half-Fae character seeking vengeance in a world filled with magic and peril. The series, known for its gripping narrative, unforgettable characters, and sizzling romance, explores themes of power, identity, and love

I am so excited to read more of Sarah J. Maas’s books because she has some amazing writing and knows how to build a story. I have loved Throne of Glass and A Court Of Thorns and Roses so I am very excited to see how Crescent City will be!

6. The Psychology of Money By Morgan Housel

I am all about learning more about wealth and money so this book sounds so interesting. I have not heard much about this book, but it is a bestseller on Amazon so it must be pretty good!

7. How Are You, Really By Jenna Kutcher

I am IN LOVE with Jenna Kutcher and thus I am so excited to read this book. Goal Digger, her podcast, is my all-time favorite podcast because it is so motivating and helps me be a better blogger.

If you want to listen to her podcast I will leave a link right here! But you can also find it on any of your favorite podcast platforms.

8. Two Weeks Notice Amy Porterfield

Amy Porterfield is a friend of Jenna Kutcher who Jenna talks about all the time so that is how I got into her podcast and has made me want to read her book.

Women in entrepreneurship can have a hard time being successful. But Amy has made it her goal to help women in their journey of leaving their traditional 9-to-5 to become entrepreneurs!
